Pieta Brown Unveils Magnetic New Album Dreamin’ Of via Righteous Babe Records

Co-produced with Bon Iver cohorts S. Carey and Mike Lewis, the 10-song cinematic cycle features a duet with Amos Lee.

NEW YORK, NY — Gifted songwriter, singer, and producer Pieta Brown releases her highly anticipated new album, Dreamin’ Of, today August 21, 2026, via Righteous Babe Records.

Co-produced by Brown alongside S. Carey and Mike Lewis (both definitive forces in Bon Iver), the album features ten compelling original tracks. The collection stands as a mesmerizing, cinematic song cycle of resilience, tackling both timely and timeless themes of nature, love, loss, war, and addiction.

The album arrives on the heels of a commanding summer roll-out, which included the captivating singles “Dreamin’ Of,” “Was The One,” and “Love Letters,” followed by the luminous, pop-tinged album closer, “Glitter Town.”

Ahead of its release, Dreamin’ Of has captured early praise and media features across key roots and indie music outlets:

“The album throughout has an indie, almost ’90s vibe, with sparse instrumentation and poetic lyrics of nature, love, loss, war, and addiction. It feels considered and crafted as a whole piece but natural and not stilted...”

Americana UK

Folk Alley

“One of the year’s most thoughtfully crafted singer-songwriter releases.”
